Hat companies finally are getting over the idea that a women’s golf hat is just a men’s hat in a smaller size. Most golf shops, while still carrying the little man hats, are showing styles that include obviously feminine colors and trims.
Madcapz founder Carrie Bell took matters a bit further along by lowering the cap profile and upping the fun factor. These lightweight, all-cotton hats come in more than 20 rather adventurous and colorful patterns – so if you like to wear colorful shirts, use caution in coordinating. If you like to wear plain shirts, these are great for making a statement.
But when I tried one, what I really liked was the fit. Many of the little man hats look cute but bump into my ears. Madcapz not only do not bump into my ears, their fit takes into account the sunglasses we should all be wearing. I also like that the bill offers a full 2-3/4 inches of sun protection.
